My Cox internet is really good, maybe one outage every 6 months or so. They get it fixed fast too. I used to work for an ISP and your service really comes down to the lines in your neighborhood. Older copper lines are often plagued with issues and newer fiber tends to be less problematic. You could try TMobile home internet.
I have been having horrible connection outages with CenturyLink in North Phoenix the past few weeks. As in, resetting the router 2-4 times per day.
