Kubota mower deck won't raise.

BX2200 with 60 " mower deck. will raise to the #4 position but will not lock in the "top" position, this just started yesterday. I can get it to lock IF I pick up on the deck while operating the hydraulics. is there an adjustment or could something have broken? it raises fine just wont go to and latch at the top. You have to fool with it to get it unjammed. Usually the setting has to be at the "top" to allow for resetting the height selector. You'll need a snap ring pliers to remove the circlip to pull out the plug, spring, and poppet. You will lose oil as this happens. Also, there's a relief in the valve for the deck lift. You'll have to pull the bottom cover off, its 4 6mm bolts. You'll find the spring with the cover, then the poppet is up in the valve.

It is the same pump that lifts the deck that engages the pto. You can check the pressure but if it lifts the deck there should be plenty of pressure/flow to engage the pto.

With no weight on the draft arms, especially after being in the raised position all winter, it is common for them to "hang" up.
